🎯How to play
1Slide the paddle left and right with your mouse or finger. You can also steer with the arrow keys or the A and D keys.
2While the ball rests on the paddle, click or press the space bar (or the up arrow) to launch it.
3Bounce the ball to smash every neon brick at the top of the screen; clearing them all finishes the stage and sends you to the next level.
4Breaking bricks earns points based on the brick color (its hit points) and your current combo multiplier, and the stage-clear bonus grows with each level.
5The three hearts in the top right are your lives. You lose one whenever the ball slips past the paddle and falls off the bottom, and it's game over when they all run out.
💡Tips
›Your combo counts how many bricks you break before the ball returns to the paddle. Each paddle bounce resets the combo to zero, so destroy as many bricks as you can during a single trip up top.
›Where the ball strikes the paddle decides its rebound angle: hits near the center fly almost straight up, while the edges send it off at a sharp angle, so position the paddle to aim. Pink and violet bricks have more hit points and pay out the most, so try to fold them into your combo.
›A yellow capsule drops now and then; catch it with the paddle to widen the paddle for about ten seconds and pick up bonus points, but only chase it if you won't lose the ball.
›The ball speeds up as you climb levels and with every paddle return, so read its trajectory early and get the paddle in place ahead of time to stay in control at high speed.
